Olfactory Psychonaut – scent art and contemporary jewelry
About the project
Olfactory Psychonaut is a project within the field of olfactory art, where scent becomes a primary artistic medium. The collection combines sculpture, jewelry, and fragrance composition, creating objects that exist between physical form and sensory experience.
The works explore the relationship between body, memory, and perception, using scent as a narrative tool and a carrier of meaning. The project operates within contemporary art and design, contributing to the discourse on scent as an artistic medium.
Olfactory art and perfumery as art
The project is situated within the emerging field of perfumery as an artistic practice, where fragrance is no longer treated as a functional product but as an autonomous art form.
The objects can be understood as:
- scent sculptures
- contemporary jewelry with an olfactory dimension
- hybrid forms combining material and immaterial elements
